Spatial assessment of pelagic fish in the Toronto and region area of concern in September 2016 / by Jonathan D. Midwood ... [et al.].: Fs97-6/3286E-PDF

"Split-beam hydroacoustic and mid-water trawling surveys of the Toronto and Region Area of Concern (AOC) were undertaken in the fall of 2016. The primary objective of these surveys was to compare the spatial distribution of pelagic fish density and abundance within the AOC, with particular focus on differences between the central waterfront (inner and outer Toronto Harbour) and more exposed coastal areas. Since surveys were completed during the day, the majority of fishes were in schools"--Abstract, p. viii.
