"Environment and Climate Change Canada’s (ECCC) Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) collects data on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from facilities across the country, under the authority of section 46 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA). Introduced in 2004, the GHGRP has provided a way for the Government of Canada to continuously track GHG emissions from individual facilities to inform the public, the National GHG Inventory and regulatory initiatives"--Introduction, p. 1.
