"This short review was written to provide an overview of potential environmental hazards posed by organic silicon substances. It is noted that there are very few data on the environmental occurrence of organic silicon substances in the Canadian environment, so a confident risk assessment cannot be made. The information will be communicated to the Toxics Pollution Prevention Directorate, the Canadian Wildlife Service, and the Meteorological Service of Canada"--Management Perspective.
