"Reference iron ore SCH-1, previously certified for nine constituents, has been certified for sodium and potassium. Analytical results were obtained from 53 contributors in Canada and abroad, most of whom used an atomic absorption procedure that is a candidate method of the International Organization for Standardization. A statistical treatment of the data yielded recommended values which are 0.019% and 0.026% for sodium and potassium respectively"--Synopsis, p. i.
