"This review is concerned with a critical evaluation of the published data relating to the ways in which the inclusion of fly ash effects fresh concrete, concrete mix proportions, and the behaviour and durability of hardened concrete. This report is the second of a series dealing with the subject of fly ash for use in concrete with reference to Canadian applications. The first report comprised a critical review of the chemical, physical and pozzolanic properties of fly ash. A subsequent report will consider the sources, supply, markets and properties of Canadian fly ashes"--Introd., p. 3.
