"The wind set-up of water bodies is presented in a novel approach involving analytical and experimental results. Theoretical solutions for nondimensional wind set-up for smooth and fully rough air-water interface conditions delegate the majority of laboratory and field results in the transitionally rough region. A new analytical approach for the drag coefficient is presented and the results are verified by field and laboratory experiments"--Abstract.
