5203 |a"The dispersion of two chlorobenzenes from the Niagara river into Lake Ontario was measured on three occasions in 1983. Despite modifications in study design over the previous years, anomalies in chlorobenzene distribution were again observed. It is concluded that some unidentified factor and not flow fluctuations is causing this effect. Partition coefficients derived from the current results are higher than predicted but can be explained if the nature of the suspended material is examined"--Executive summary.
