"The technical note 78-007 gave an example of how a systematic analysis of clouds and other surfaces seen on satellite photos may be accomplished by comparing visual pictures with IR data at (almost) the same time. Figures 1-3 represent another set of visual, IR-ZA enhancement, and IR-EC enhancement which can be analyzed (briefly) in the same manner."
