"The frost warning advisory is issued daily for the Grape and vegetable growers of the Okanagan Valley during September and October. During this period harvesting is underway, and the crops are susceptalbe to early fall frosts which may drastically affect the quality and quantity of the produce. The purpose of the advisory, is to advise the agriculturalists of expected freezing temperatures during the crucial harvest period."
