"A previous note by the same author (NO 78-034) outlined the causes of marine stratus over the southern Georgia strait during the summer months. Briefly, under certain conditions marine stratus forms over the open ocean and is advected into the southern Georgia strait. Three categories of this phenonomen were defined in a general manner. This note will detail and example of the so-called Category A type."
