"Only recently has recognition been given to vinyl chloride hazards. In 1973, there were two vinyl chloride monomer producers and four polyvinyl chloride resin manufacturers in Canada. Because emissions data are scarce, an emission factor approach using values developed by the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States has been used to estimate the vinyl chloride emissions from these plants"--Abstract.
