"An environmental monitoring program has been conducted at Goderich Harbour for three years to assess the impact of a new rubblemound breakwater on local coastal and fluvial processes. Hydrographic surveys were carried out to determine sediment accretion and deposition changes. Bed material surveys were also completed. Results from 1984 to 1986 indicate no serious adverse environmental impacts due to the new breakwater"--Abstract.
