For maximum efficiency and effectiveness, we highly recommend that LTIP be closely linked with the Capital Investment Planning Information System (CIPIS) currently being developed in the Department of Communications. In essence, the result would be a number of inter-linked factor specific information systems which could be used for descriptive, predictive/planning, and analytical/evaluative purposes.
