"The rate of gold cementation on zinc was measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometric analysis while roating zinc cylinders in deoxygenated alkaline cyanide solutions at controlled peripheral velocities and temperatures. The dependence of the rate constant on peripheral velocity and temperature indicates that the rate is diffusion-controlled"--Abstract, page i.
