"This study provides a quantitative assessment of the social impacts and benefits of MSAT on users and Canadian society. It represents the second part of an assessment of the social impacts and benefits of MSAT and was one of a series of studies commissioned as part of the overall MSAT Phase B program. These studies were designed to address the overall economic and social impacts as well as benefits resulting from investments in the MSAT program on industry and Canadian society at large"--Introduction.
