Finite depth wind waves : a preliminary analysis of data from a field study on Lake St. Clair / by S. Vankatesh, M.A. Donelan, H. Graber, P. Liu, D. Schwabb and M.G. Skafel.: En13-5/87-153E-PDF
"The state-of-the-art of modelling waves in water of finite depth is in a relatively primitive state. This experiment in Lake St. Clair has generated extremely promising data set which will be analyzed in detail with the aim of providing a satisfactory model. A major effort by NWRI, AES, NOAA/GLERL, and WHOI staff is continuing to analyze the data. Once this is achieved, the model will permit accurate forecasting of wave effects in shallow water for use in, for example, shore management and resuspension investigations"--Management Perspective.
