"The Snow Chemistry Working Group of the International Commission on Snow and Ice received support under the Advanced Research Workshop program of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to convene a workshop and publish the proceedings thereof on the subject of "Processes of Chemical Change in Snowpacks". The workshop, restricted to 12 invited speakers and about 20 other observers and reviewers, was held at Maratea, Italy, July 23-27, 1990. This paper was invited by the organizers to review the subject of chemical change of organic micropollutants in snowpacks"--Management perspective.
