"This study is prepared for the Bureau of Competition Policy under the contract dated September 24, 1990 as amended. It assesses the likely course of merger le and acquisition activity in Canada over the period 1991-96. Its goal is to forecast the level of such activity and the key features thereof in light of the competition policy concerns of the Bureau and related issues of interest to other agencies"--page [10].
