"Attached is a review of Canada's external merchandise trade classified by the principal industrial sectors for the years 1966-1985. The tabulations show total exports (including re-exports) and total imports both on a customs value basis. This report, produced from Statistics Canada latest records, supercedes the previous "Commodity Trade by Industrial Sector, Historical Summary, 1966-1984" issued by the Statistical and Data Base Services Directorate, Department of Regional Industrial Expansion, in the Summer of 1985."
