"The first annual workshop on polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in the Environment was held in Burlington, at the Canada Centre for Island Waters in Burlington, Ontario on August 19-20, 1999. Even though the main focus of the workshop was on PBDEs, the occurrence and environmental relevance of other brominated compounds such as tetrabromobisphenol (TBBPA), hexabromocyclododecane (HBCDD), and halogenated dimethy bipyrroles were discussed"--Abstract.
