"On 20 June 2018, Bill C-68, An Act to amend the Fisheries Act and other Acts in consequence was adopted by the House of Commons at Third Reading. The bill sets out new factors that may be considered by the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans when making fisheries-related decisions. These factors include, among others, social, economic and cultural considerations"--Introduction, page 7.
