"This review describes the development of the seven country, three continent International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Project for evaluating simple, inexpensive microbiological water testing procedures. The tests evaluated and compared were the coliphage test, A-1 broth (MPN) test and the P/A and H2S paper strip potable water tests. A summary of the observations and conclusions of these studies is presented"--Abstract.
