Rationale for establishing a TAC in Hebron Fiord during 1982 / by J.B. Dempson.: Fs70-8/82-38E-PDF

"Quota regulations on Arctic charr stocks in the immediate Nain area have led to the expansion of the fishery into the Hebron and Saglek region during 1981. These areas have been virtually unexploited since the 1960's when average production of Arctic charr was 19 t and 62 t from Hebron Fiord and Saglek Fiord respectively. Comparison of biological characteristics and physical characteristics of production areas from other fishing regions suggest a sustainable yield would be about 21 t y."
