520 |a"The RAISON system was originally designed for the regional analysis of the impact of acidic deposition for use on a microcomputer. Its unique feature includes a user friendly interface of database, map, and spreadsheet. This interface has facilitated the analysis of air, soil and water data and the presentation of watershed acidification model results. The success of using such a system has led to new applications. This report shows how the system is adapted from the acid rain problem to the mine effluent problem. It illustrates the flexibility and the general applicability of the system"--Management Perspective.
