Automated analysis of hydraulic and tracer tests conducted in fractured rock / by A. Piggott, T. Huynh, P. Lapcevic, K. Novakowski.: En13-5/95-28E-PDF

"An algorithm is presented for automated type-curve matching of hydraulic and tracer test data. The algorithm determines formation parameters by linking existing models of fluid flow and tracer transport in fractured rock to a robust, nonlinear regression routine. This method of parameter determination reduces the effort and subjectivity associated with manual interpretation of the data and returns an optimal representation of the data. Application of the algorithm to a range of hydraulic and tracer test data demonstrates the advantages of the approach relative to conventional methods of type-curve matching"--Abstract, page 1.
