"An aerial survey to monitor the distribution and intensity of inshore fishing gear in the southern Gulf of St. Lawrence was carried out in May 1980. A single engine aircraft flying at altitude of 3000 ft and equipped with aerial camera was used. The survey comprised six main fisheries which required 40 hours flight and 750 pictures"--Abstract.
