"This note has been prepared in response to a request from the Fisheries Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (Appendix 1) for assistance in surveying a number of small artificial shoals in Lake Ontario just offshore from Bluffer's Park, Scarborough; The shoals were emplaced in October 1981 as spawning sites for fish, and a survey was required to locate them and determine their size and shape"--Introduction.
