Environmental dynamics of benzothiazole-based pesticides / by B.G. Brownlee, J.H. Carey and I.T. Pellizzari.: En13-5/90-58E-PDF
"Recently, the British Columbia government announced new regulations for wood protection chemicals that may result in the partial or complete replacement of chlorophenols by other anti-sapstain agents. One of these is BUSAN 30WB in which 2-(thiocyanomethylthio) benzothiazole (TCMTB) is the active ingredient. Very little environmental information is available in the open literature for TCMTB. We have carried out a study on TCMTB and related benzothiazoles, some of which are potential transformation products of TCMTB in aquatic environments"--Abstract.
