"Multivariate observations of the distribution of PCBs in water, sediment and selected biota samples using the principal components SIMCA program was applied to analytical data obtained from samples collected in Wheatley Harbour, Lake Erie and Hamilton Harbour, Lake Ontario. The results show that the concentration patterns of individual homologues were similar in sediments and biota samples. In the water samples, a greater concentration of the lower chlorinated biphenyls were present"--Executive summary.
