"The Chairman's Award for Design Management is sponsored by the National Design Council in cooperation with the Department of Industry, Trade and Commerce. Its purpose is to encourage Canadian enterprises to improve their design management activities. The Award recognizes the outstanding contribution made by the management of a Canadian business enterprise in advancing the cause of good design by the application of effective design management"--Page [1].
