"The objective of the present study was to evaluate the atmospheric concentrations and deposition rates of ammonia, ammonium, nitrate, nitrite, sulphate and total phosphate in the Elk Creek watershed in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. Such knowledge will aid in determining the role of atmospheric nutrients in the formation of fine particulates and the atmospheric input of these compounds to aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems within the watershed"--Introduction, page 13.
