"On March 9, 2018, Canada launched negotiations toward a possible free trade agreement (FTA) with the four full members of the Mercosur trade bloc—Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. At the time of this launch, the Government of Canada announced its intention to conduct a gender-based analysis plus (GBA+) process to inform the negotiations"--Introduction, page 4.
