Regional industrial development incentives : a Canada-U.S. comparison.: C23-86/1979E-PDF

"The purpose of this study was to compare industrial incentive programs offered by Canadian Provinces and U.S. States. In particular, interest was focused on the "sunbelt" states in the southeast U.S., but material was also collected from Ohio, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont as well as Ontario and Quebec. It soon became clear that a large project would call for an individual approach so that it is not possible to project data beyond the states and provinces surveyed. In the time available it was not possible to cover Western Canada or the western part of the U.S."--Summary.
