"The Temporary National Coordination Office (TNCO) was established in July 2018 with a mandate to develop options and recommendations for a Public Safety Broadband Network (PSBN) for first responders and public safety personnel across Canada. The TNCO consulted stakeholders and field experts; examined research and literature available to date, as well as pilots and trials; and conducted analyses to develop the recommendations contained in this progress report. The TNCO will present a Policy Paper in early 2020. It should be noted that as this document serves as an indicator of progress on TNCO work, it is understood that new information gathered between this publication and the Policy Paper which bear material consideration may influence final recommendations"--Executive summary.
