"This working paper reviews the growth of direct investment in Canada by non-residents since the beginning of 1945. It is based on material published up to September 1973 by Statistics Canada, in connection with the balance of payments and the international investment position. It is the second working paper in a series, superseding "Foreign Direct Investment In Canada Since the Second World War", which was issued in January 1970 and updated or otherwise amended three times"--Introduction, page 1.
