"In 2018, EMMC endorsed the Market Transformation Road Map for Energy Efficient Equipment in the Building Sector which is a plan to create broad market adoption of next-generation, clean technologies needed for a low carbon building sector. The Road Map outlines long-term aspirational goals for minimum energy performance in these equipment areas out to 2030/2035 and serves as the basis for short- to medium-term activities by governments and stakeholders between now and 2025."
