520 |a"Peninsula Harbour, on the north shore of Lake Superior, is the dominant waterfront feature of the community of Marathon, Ontario (Figure 1). A pulp mill located on the shore of Jellicoe Cove, a southern embayment of the harbour, historically discharged a portion of its effluent into the cove.
