"This report provides detailed descriptions of the sites sampled in the 1993-1994 national survey for organotin compounds in water and sediment. The results of the national survey will be published elsewhere. The survey was designed (1) to determine environmental concentrations of butyltin species five years after the regulation of antifouling uses of tributyltin in 1989 under the Pest Control Products Act, and (2) to determine environmental concentrations of non-pesticidal organotin compounds to verify the 1993 conclusion that they were not toxic under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act"--Abstract, page iv.
