"Explicit standard or reference methods for determining the acute lethal toxicity of effluents to the crustacean "waterflea" Daphnia magna are described in this report. Specific instructions for performing and reporting acute lethality tests with samples of effluent are given, and the guidance provided in the generic methodology document "Acute Lethality Test Using Daphnia spp".is built upon (Environment Canada, 1990a)"--Abstract.
