Alternating carrier-sample gas diffusion method with conductometric detection for the determination of ammonia / I. Sekerka and J.F. Lechner.: En13-5/91-110E-PDF
"An alternating carrier-sample continuous flow technique is proposed for determining ammonia in various environmental samples. The method is based on diffusion of ammonia through a hydrophobic membrane from an alkaline medium to a dilute acid solution. The change in conductance of this solution is proportional to the ammonia concentration present in the sample"--Abstract.
