Baseline data on chemical oceanography in the southern Beaufort Sea, 1974-5 / C.S. Wong [and three others].: En3-6/14E-PDF

"Two cruises have been made to the Southern Beaufort Sea to collect chemical baseline data. Measurements have been made on hydrocarbon levels ( Hong et al . , 1976, Macdonald, 1976), suspended particulates (Matsumoto and Hong, 1977), reactive nutrients, dissolved oxygen, temperature and salinity. The primary objective of the survey was to establish the baseline levels of marine hydrocarbons in the Beaufort Sea drilling area by measuring classes of hydrocarbons and identifying some specific hydrocarbons in seawater, marine sediments, marine organisms, marine mammals and fish"--Summary.
