"This report describes National Dioxin Interlaboratory QC Study No.1, the first in a series of intercomparison studies conducted by the Quality Assurance Group at the National Water Research Institute on the analysis of polychlorinated dibenzo-para-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans in sediment. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the quality and comparability of the data generated by commercial and government laboratories for the analysis of these highly toxic compounds in naturally-contaminated freeze-dried sediments"--Abstract.
