"One of the investigations of the 1974-75 Beaufort Sea Project was an offshore, near-surface current study. A drifting surface drogue was developed that could be deployed and tracked using an aircraft, thus enabling examination of the surface currents over a large area of the Beaufort Sea"--Summary.
