Uncertainty in the calibration equation for rod suspended Price meters / P. Engel and K. Wiebe.: En13-5/92-21E-PDF
"Five Price winter current meters were calibrated separately, each ten times, for a total of fifty calibrations. A new form of calibration equation fitted to the data by least squares methods gave excellent results. Analysis showed that, even at velocities of 10 cm/s, the uncertainty due to the calibration equation was 2% or less at the 95%confidence level for the five meters tested"--Abstract.
