Departmental progress in implementing sustainable development strategies. : FA1-26/2019-2-1E-PDF

"The Government of Canada has committed to sustainable development as a principle for the ecological use of natural, social, and economic resources. Every 3 years, the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy provides a government-wide perspective on environmental and sustainable development goals, targets, and actions. Federal departments and agencies identified in the Federal Sustainable Development Act are required to prepare their own sustainable development strategies; the act also requires these strategies to comply with and contribute to the federal strategy"--Background, page 1.
