"The identification and assessment of factors related to successful release is an important area of research. The purpose of the current study was (1) to identify what information within the Correctional Service of Canada's (CSC) Offender Management System (OMS) measures offenders' strengths, and (2) determine if these factors are associated with success in the community"--Why we did this study.
