"This report describes an interlaboratory comparison of the analysis of Na, K, Mg, Ca and hardness of water. Some fifty Canadian laboratories participated in the analysis of six unpreserved water samples. The analyte concentrations were designed to be approximately at the middle of the wide concentration range encountered in environmental studies"--Abstract, page v.
