"The principal objective of this study was to investigate the feasibility of launching a Multi-Purpose UHF Satellite into geosynchronous orbit using either the Delta launch vehicle or the Space Shuttle. The main thrust of the study was to examine ways of launching the "GP Bus" spacecraft, which was originally intended for launch on the Delta, on the Space Shuttle"--Introduction, page 1.
