Computer simulations and laboratory tests of proposed ghost cancelling systems / by Bernard Caron.: Co24-228/1992E-PDF

"Five different video Ghost Cancelling Reference signais have been proposed to improve television reception in North America. One of them must be selected as a standard. This report presents the computer simulations and laboratory tests performed to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of the proposed video Ghost Cancelling Reference (GCR) Signal. The results have demonstrated that a ghost cancellation system can significantly improve television service, It appears however that more tests may be required before the best GCR signal can be selected as a standard"--Abstract, page 2.
