"A narwhal (Monodon monoceros) entrapment event of at least 249 whales occurred near the community of Pond Inlet, Nunavut in November 2015. We evaluated how this particular entrapment event may impact the Total Allowable Landed Catch (TALC) for Pond Inlet for future years, and modelled how these events may impact the Eclipse Sound narwhal stock over the next 100 years"--Abstract, page iv.
